| | am-.5barefoot warmup;30 min;30/30 workout;kids' club
My goal was to get in all the 30/30 sets that would fit with my time for today, so that meant 20. I felt really good today. The group I'm with was going 5 cones per "on" set, and 2.5 for the "off". I was able to stick with the group the whole time, which was nice. At the very end, it was just me, Carli, and Coach Roberts.We hit our distance everytime spot on, then Carli dropped back a bit, and Coach encouraged me to get 6 cones on the last set, which I did, so that was good :) Great workout, good job everyone!

Wasn't expecting the workout to be as hard as it was. It was nice having both of the coaches there to help push us. There were a couple that I pushed it and stayed with Maskerem and Josie, but when I wasn't with them, I was toward the middle or back of the group. But overall it was a good workout, I think I just need to learn how to distribute my speed evenly for next time.

Ran with a bunch of girls up at youth conference. Nichole helped to pace Kaelie and I during our minutes, which was nice. It was really fast for me, but I kept up and it felt strong

Our tempo went down to 15 this week so that we could keep a stronger pace during all of it. Struggled staying with Coach, Carli, and Kaelie, but I stuck with them the whole time

It was so hot! I felt like my skin was on FIRE! But It was nice once it was over :) I realize I need to drink lots more water to stay hydrated, Nichole got super sick from dehydration today, and so I'm going to make sure I'm drinking plenty

Definitely wasn't my best race ever. My time was 24:38. I was aiming for about 2 minutes less than the time I ended up with. The course was.....not my favorite. It seemed to go by really slow, but it was pretty even, so that's good. It felt nice to get out and do a race since I haven't done one for a while. It helped me know what I need to work on for this xc season.

I started to run an easy warmup, but the pain started to bother me again so I just cut it short and did only .25.

didn't run the workout :( this workout is my favorite ever. I iced my I.T. band and stretched it really good a couple times during the day, but it's still bothering me a little.I don't know if it's something that if I run on it, it will injure it more or not, but I don't want to take the chance, so I didn't run today, and then I'll run tomorrow afternoon up at camp.
