am-30 min easy

First day of summer practice! Ran the first 20 minutes with some of the new girls. Reallyenjoyed getting to know the new girls. Then ran the other 10 minutes with Josie and Irene. Good first day, WAY excited for this season

am-30 min w/striders

Today felt really awesome. Grass runs are my favorite! Went pretty good pace, and the striders felt alright. The last lap or so Maycee and I picked up the pace a lot and so it felt nice to have a good, strong finish.

other-Kids' Club! 

Mostly helped out with the paperwoork and stuff, but did play a couple games with the kids and it was a blast :)

am- 40 min

The first half of the run I struggled just a bit, but the way back felt fantastic. I've decided I'm going to start having a strong finish at the end of all my runs to help me get used to pushing harder when I'm tired. So when Jacey, Josie, Roberts, and Miles came by on our way back with about a half mile left I picked up the pace a lot and went with them. It felt so good.

am-30 min w/striders

So yesterday I went on a hike with some friends and I fell off a boulder and bruised/cut my knees and elbow. It hurt pretty bad, and my left knee bothered me a bit today. Not so much during the run, but I only did 4xstriders cuz when I went faster it really irritated it. The run felt alright today, I felt really super sluggish, like I was running through water. Probably just my legs getting back into the feel of running.

Met up with some of the girls today to run. Felt really good the first half, but I got really bad stomach pains and needed to take care of it. So I ran the last half by myself, but still kept a pretty solid pace

am-dirt mile, progress faster each lap-45 min total

I honestly dont know the exact time of each lap, but I'm most positive it got faster each time. The first lap was alright, and the second felt a little better. The strongest point for me was the second half of the second lap and the first half of the third lap. But at the end of the third lap I felt completely drained and slowed down a lot. My legs felt really good today, the only thing that held me back at all was my breathing.

am-30 min w/4xstriders

the grass felt really nice today, we went a pretty good pace. But I only did 4xstriders because since my hip has been hurting lately the striders really make it hurt it.

other-So my health has gotten worse the past couple months and it really put me behind on my running and stuff. Especially because my breathing has been AWFUL. I have attacks at random times during the day where I just can't breathe and it's really scary. I went to the doctor today and he gave me results from the pft (pulminary function test) that I had last week. Apparently my lungs only function at 45% of what they should, and at the highest work at 62%. That's....kinda bad. So I'm trying some stronger stuff and hopefully it helps. I'm excited to try the new stuff because if it works I can progress a lot faster this year because breathing is really the only thing that holds me back when I run. So I'm happy

Felt REALLY good today. Since I figured out what was wrong with my breathing and how to help it, today was a lot better. If I can run like how I did today everyday, then I feel like this season is going to be my best one ever. The run was pretty hard today, but I could breathe better so it was easier to push faster. Brianna was just a little ahead of me the whole time. My goal was to catch her, and I got close, but ended a few steps behind her. Felt fantastic :D

other-So I tried my new medicine today that's going to hlep me breathe, and it worked so good! Just from one day I was able to run so much faster because my breathing was a lot better!
